Ehsan Sadri, M.D., is FAAO and FACS board-certified eye surgeon who is well-trained in LASIK, glaucoma and cataract surgery. He is equipped with extensive training on progressive techniques for ocular surgery such as LASIK, refractive lensectomy, PRK, phakic intraocular lenses and cataract surgery. Dr. Sadri has performed over thousands of ocular surgeries making use of advanced ocular surgery techniques in treating eye diseases such as astigmatism, hyperopia (farsightedness) and myopia (nearsightedness). Dr. Sadri is also experienced and well-trained in cosmetic procedures including lower and upper eyelid blepharoplasty.

Dr. Sadri has participated and conveyed over 300 lectures in both the local and global scene where he has taught other ophthalmologist surgeons with the most recent innovations on surgical techniques for vision preservation and correction. He has garnered grants and honors from various institutions such as the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), Heed Ophthalmic Foundation, the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), National Institutes of Health, the Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Allergan, Alcon Laboratories, and the Fight for Sight/Research to Prevent Blindness, all due to his vast research and clinical work. He is a constant name in the list of Best Doctors in Southern California, Best Doctors in America, and America’s Top Ophthalmologists.

Dr. Sadri studied in the University of California, Davis, with degree majors in Biochemistry and Spanish. He then continued at the University of Michigan, where he conducted a fellowship in Fight for Sight in glaucoma and retina research in partnership with Kellogg Eye Center. He finished his medical internship in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center which is an affiliate hospital of the University of California, Irvine. He finished his residency in Ophthalmology in the University of Maryland, Baltimore and proceeded with a cataract and glaucoma fellowship in the University of California in Irvine.

Dr. Sadri founded and is the former president of the Orange County Glaucoma Society, and is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Glaucoma Society. He also actively participates in the American Board of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He regularly teaches other surgeons throughout the nation on new innovations in technology and technique regarding glaucoma and cataract care. He takes part in activities such as golf, swimming, tennis and basketball during his free time.
