Overview

Primepares G. Pal is a Board Certified vein specialist and the founder of the Minnesota Vein Center, located in North Oaks, Minnesota. He specializes in the comprehensive treatment of a range of venous disorders, including spider veins, varicose veins, and chronic venous insufficiency. Dr. Pal founded the Minnesota Vein Center in order to provide patients with minimally invasive, state of the art venous treatments in a comfortable and personalized clinic environment. The clinic has successfully treated thousands of patients with venous diseases since its opening in 2004.

The Minnesota Vein Center was founded as a one stop facility for the treatment and diagnosis of venous disease. It was one of the first specialty vein clinics opened in the Twin Cities area. The Center’s highly credentialed staff ensures that patients receive a continuity of care to make their treatment process more streamlined. Therefore, patients are evaluated, treated, and followed up with the same staff throughout the duration of their treatment. The Center is also recognized for maintaining exceptionally high educational and technology levels of its staff in conjunction with the utilization of state of the art technology. For all of these reasons, the Minnesota Vein Center often draws patients from local, regional, national, and international locales.

Dr. Pal is Board Certified in both Phlebology, the medical field covering venous disease, and in Internal Medicine. He is also a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and has accreditation from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Dr. Pal earned his undergraduate degree in Physics from the University of Arkansas in 1980. He then earned his Medical Degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine in 1984. He conducted his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Pal also conducted a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Fellowship in Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of California, San Diego.

Dr. Pal began his extensive career practicing Internal Medicine after he was a Clinical Instructor at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He spent 20 years practicing and training in Internal Medicine and also served as the Chief of Professional Services of the White Bear Lake, Minnesota-based HealthPartners Medical Group. However, when Dr. Pal recognized that minimally invasive techniques, catheter-based procedures, and diagnostic ultrasonography had advanced to the point that such technologies could drastically improve the wellbeing of patients with venous disorders, he founded the Minnesota Vein Center.

Dr. Pal and his wife Jacqueline Pal, who also works at the Center as a Certified Nurse Practitioner, generously give their support to numerous national and community organizations. They are committed to global humanitarian endeavors and also remain active with research and education.
