Vein Institute of the Desert gives vein disease patients direct access to innovative and advanced medical technology in a warm, elegant, and friendly environment. Conveniently located on Highway 111, Vein Institute of the Desert proudly serves the greater Coachella Valley and beyond. In fact, we often have clients from Europe, many from Canada, Mexico, Southern and Northern California, Washington and Oregon. Our highly specialized staff treats all forms of superficial vein disease, including varicose veins and spider veins removal. We utilize cutting edge technology in order to provide the most minimally invasive treatment options for our patients. This enables our patients to obtain full treatment without significantly interfering with their daily routines. One of the advanced medical technologies we use includes the EVLT vein treatment. Endovenous Laser Treatment (EVLT) is a proven alternative to traditional, and often more painful, vein ligation. Vein Institute of the Desert also utilizes advanced laser medicine techniques specializing in Laser Assisted Liposuction along with Laser Hair Removal and Fotofacial Skin Rejuvenation.
Vein Institute of the Desert treatment begins with a complimentary comprehensive medical evaluation by our Medical Director, Dr. Joan Warren. Dr. Warren has conducted thousands of vein procedures during her 13 years of medical experience. She is committed to providing the finest level of care in phlebology, which is the medical specialty that focuses on venous diseases. Dr. Warren is board certified in phlebology by the American Board of Phlebology. In fact, she became one of the first 15 physicians in California to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Phlebology. In order to do so, Dr. Warren had to write and pass the first ever board examination for phlebology certification. Always at the forefront of phlebology, Dr. Warren was also one of the first Americans to train other physicians in the use of Endovenous Laser Treatments (EVLT).
Dr. Joan Warren is the only female board certified phlebologist in the Palm Desert Area and receives acclaim for her work in vein treatment and removal. From 2008 to present, the Consumer Research Council of America has recognized Dr. Warren as one of America’s Top Physicians in the entire phlebology field. Palm Springs Life also acknowledged Dr. Warren as among the Desert’s Top Doctors. Dr. Warren earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Medical Degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City. She completed her residency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida in 1985. Dr. Warren began her medical career in pediatrics but began practicing phlebology in 1999. She then moved to California in 2001 to practice with the Vein Doctor Medical Group. She began her Solo Medical Practice February 20th, 2010 and started in her present office location December 01, 2011. Dr. Warren is a member of the American College of Phlebology (ACP), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), and is a Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS).
I have had several cosmetic procedures in the past. My husband said he's never seen such a dramatic improvement than after my back Laser Assisted Liposuction with Dr. Warren.
