Dr. Deborah L. Manjoney is a vein expert who practices at the Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa, located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. One of the area’s leading vascular specialists, Dr. Manjoney utilizes state-of-the-art procedures to treat spider veins, varicose veins, and other forms of venous disease. She has performed minimally invasive procedures to treat these venous conditions for 11 years. Dr. Manjoney relies on her background as a well-respected cardiovascular surgeon and her extensive vascular knowledge to produce an extremely high standard of care for her patients. Moreover, as a woman, she also understands the need for her treatments to produce good cosmetic results for her patients.

Realizing the need for a reputable vein clinic in the greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, Dr. Manjoney established the Wisconsin Vein Center and MediSpa in 2002. She then left her hospital position in 2004 to devote her entire medical practice to performing minimally invasive procedures for varicose veins and spider veins removal. Although her move from a high-powered heart surgery career was difficult, Dr. Manjoney realized the need for premium, cutting-edge venous care in a calming, comfortable environment. All procedures at the Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa are performed in office, using only local anesthesia without the need for general anesthesia or sedation. The facility strives to give patients the relaxed comfort of a spa environment while giving them more advanced medical treatment options.

Dr. Manjoney has become recognized as a leader in office-based treatment methods for venous disease. To date, she has performed more than 5,000 sclerotherapy and ambulatory phlebectomy procedures and more than 2,500 endovenous laser ablations for the treatment of saphenous veins. Dr. Manjoney is also a luminary for Dornier Med-Tech and Alma lasers and, as such, offers the most advanced, broad-ranging state-of-the-art technologies for her patients.

Dr. Manjoney is a Board Certified surgeon who has earned praise for her dedication to the medical field. She lectures nationally about vein disease and has been featured in news articles, magazines, and on television programs. She is a recipient of the “Woman of Influence” award and, due to her expertise, and is listed as a Top Doctor by local print media. She allows other physicians to observe her practice as they prepare to conduct their own advanced vein treatments. Dr. Manjoney has her Board Certification from both the American Board of Surgery as well as the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a diplomat of the American Board of Phlebology.

Dr. Manjoney earned her Medical Degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. While in medical school she received the Senior Surgical Research Award and in her third year was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Fraternity. After earning her Medical Degree, Dr. Manjoney completed her internship, residency, and her Chief Residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center in General Surgery before moving to the University of Chicago where she pursued a residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Dr. Manjoney then served at the State University of New York in Brooklyn as an Assistant Professor of Surgery while also serving as Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Kings County Hospital. She then worked in Erie, Pennsylvania as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon prior to relocating to Milwaukee in 1992. She worked as a Thoracic and Cardiac Surgeon for numerous hospitals in both Waukesha and Milwaukee while founding the Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa in 2002. Dr. Manjoney currently serves as a Luminary for Alma Lasers, an Editorial Board Member for Vein Therapy News, and is a Preceptor and Lecturer for Dornier Med Tech. She is a member of the Medical Spa Society and the American College of Phlebology. She is also a member of the Milwaukee TEMPO organization and the National Association of Professional Women.
