Yes. Ambulatory phlebectomy can be can be used on all skin types. If you have dark skin, that does not prohibit you from having the procedure. In general darker skin types are less forgiving than lighter skin types. In a person with a lighter skin type the incisions where veins have been removed, leave almost no marks; where as people with darker skin may have residual marks where the veins were removed. This lasting effect should be a cosmetic improvement over bulging veins.
