Do I have varicose veins?

This question was asked in York, South Carolina and has 5 answer(s) as of 11/07/2012.
On the left side of my jaw there are tiny spots in my skin and they are black in color and appear to be tiny forming holes. What is your opinion and what should I do? Could these be varicose veins?

From your description, it sounds like you have a few black comedones, otherwise known as "blackheads", a condition found in acne. This is a common skin disease not related to vein disease.

There is no way to tell what they are without seeing them, but from your description I do not believe they are varicose veins. My recommendation for you would be to go see a dermatologist.

The findings you described do not sound like varicose veins. My suggestion is you seek evaluation by a dermatologist.
