Video Overview

Hello! I'm Dr. Primepares Pal founder and medical director of Minnesota Vein Center. We're located in North Oaks, Minnesota. I am board certified in internal medicine and board certified in venous and lymphatic medicine. I've been in practice for over 20 years. The last 10 years, my practice has been dedicated to the treatment of vein disorders. Can I treat spider veins at home? The short answer is no. The gold standard for the treatment of spider veins is injection sclerotherapy. Sclerotherapy is the injection of chemical solutions into the vein causing that vein to collapse. In some cases surface laser or surface radio frequency may be appropriate. These procedures are best done by the experienced vein specialist.
