No, losing weight cannot actually help remove varicose veins that you already have, but, it can prevent the veins that you have from being worse or the progression of your disease. Some patients, in fact, activate the losses of significant amount of weight may actually notice their varicose veins more because they were hidden by the excess weight. But, losing weight is good. Losing weight will help prevent the progression of your disease and help prevent new veins from coming out and occurring, but they do not remove veins that you already have.
