Video Overview

Is there a chance my veins will return after treatment? Catheter-based treatment of chronic venous insufficiency is 99 percent permanent if done properly. Also, treatment of large ropey varicose veins is again 99 to a hundred percent permanent. Sometimes spider veins do not all go away on the first treatment and spider veins and spider veins might take more than one treatment of a given area before they fade away. While it is unusual to get recurrent varicose veins if you have proper treatment initially, it is sometimes, over the years, possible to get some spider veins that return that might need further treatment.
