Video Overview

How does compression therapy help in treatment of a venous reflux disease? Compression therapy is not indicated as a primary treatment of venous reflux disease. It does not cure the condition. It merely helps in the improvement of some of the symptoms, which is leg swelling and heaviness. Medical compression stockings are used, however, as an adjunct during and following treatment of venous reflux disease.
