Video Overview

How does liposuction work? Liposuction is the permanent removal of subcutaneous fat through suction canings. Liposuction can be done with general anesthesia or can be done with only local anesthetic; this is called tumescent liposuction. Modern liposuction involves the administration of dilute local anesthetic with adrenaline to limit blood loss to provide a safe, comfortable procedure with rapid recovery.
