Video Overview

How long is the recovery from ambulatory phlebectomy? Ambulatory phlebectomy is the physical removal of varicose veins that is done again at an office setting. It is a procedure where local anesthetics are used. The veins are moved through a very small 1 millimeter opening and recovery time is very short. Usually, people return either to work or their normal activities the same day as the procedure.
