What are sclerotherapy side effects? The potential side effects range from focal area of pain, numbness, or itching at the area of injection. Alternatively, some patients might develop also skin color changes at the site where the injections were given. All of these symptoms or side effects are however very transient and short in duration. And they should subside or disappear in a matter of weeks or month at the most.
