Video Overview

What does sclerotherapy feel like? Sclerotherapy injections kind of feel like pin pricks, like small tiny needle sticks. We use extremely small needles to treat the superficial veins, and therefore the patient might feel sometimes, at the worst, like a small pin prick. A lot of these patients are going to have some lotion applied to their skin prior to the sclerotherapy. So, a lot of them probably will not feel that pin prick.
