Video Overview

Why did LASER treatment for my veins not work? LASER treatment for some veins will work but often LASER treatment on the surface of the skin fails. If one imagines that this is the skin with little tiny spider veins within the skin. If one shines LASER light in here through the skin and seals these veins shut that will work temporarily, but if there are veins under the surface that feed those, called reticular veins, then commonly these will be right back very quickly. So it is important to treat these veins under the surface with sclerotherapy which cannot be treated with a LASER.
