Video Overview

Will I experience pain during my procedures? Well, most vein procedures are done under local anesthesia. So, what you will feel is the little sting of a numbing shot. It is a very, very, tiny needle. Once the vein is numb, you feel no pain at all for the rest of the procedure, and most of the procedures have no or very little pain afterwards. So, it is not like recovering from an operation. We do not do the old fashion vein stripping anymore, which had a big post op pain and recovery time. So, what we are talking about now is anywhere from 15 to 30-minute procedure in which you walk out from the procedure and have very little or pain afterwards.
